Hobbomock was founded in the shadow of Sleeping Giant State Park. The Native Americans in the area called the Sleeping Giant Hobbomock. 

While there are many variations of the legend of Hobbomock we like the one in which he taught his people how to fish, hunt, and talk to the animals…
